We use Jdp pipes I can’t remember off the top of my head the price sorry.

I’ve only ever managed to source 150m lengths and I can assure you without a proper spooler to unroll it you don’t want anything bigger. You certainly don’t want to do it in the middle of a heat wave as it will dam near kill you.

For that sort of quantity i've always got my buying group to do the legwork and they always get it from JD Pipes.
That size is wretched stuff to work with, I agree, at least in heatwave it will be a bit more flexible than in winter.

We tried 210m groundsource 40mm collector pipes here with a horizontal spooler, gave up in the end as the twist and tension in the pipe was just making things awkward and did them quicker by hand in the end. Ideally the spooler needed to be on a trailer or tractor or digger and mounted vertically.

Don't try and unroll it on a cold day as it will stay like a coiled spring and impossible to lay. Best to unroll it a day or two before use and if at all possible leave it tensioned via ropes or rachet straps between trailers etc as 50mm will knock your teeth out if whips due to coiling tensions. 65mm is even worst:confused:

Don’t mess about rolling pipes out get someone with the proper kit to pull them in for you

Cheapest I’ve found and cheaper than pipestock is a guy called peter Stirzaker 01608 663355

Pipestock are cheaper than him for fittings though

If you want to lay it in a trench I found a handy tip on here that really works - Attach it to a tractor with a long rope (longer the better) and drive across the field, and around in a circle a few times if necessary. The pipe will uncoil and lay perfectly flat. It really works!

I did it with 63mm pipe and that will lift you off the ground if you grab it as it uncoils!

Not sure where you are based? Sweeting’s drainage in Yorkshire laid more than 1000m of 50mm pipe at a good price for me
with their trencher. Very pleased with the service provided by them.
