60 days of sunshine....

Not what the Met Office are saying today

UK Outlook for Monday 16 Apr 2018 to Wednesday 25 Apr 2018:
A changeable picture looks likely at the start of the period with bands of showers moving east across the UK. There will also be drier periods with some sunshine. Eastern areas will benefit from the driest weather and temperatures here could be rather warm. Western areas will be wetter and windier with temperatures closer to normal. By mid-week it will probably become more widely settled with some dry and sunny weather. Western areas will, however be more likely to see some stronger winds and occasional showers. By next weekend generally fine and dry conditions are most likely to be in place with above-average temperatures. However, there is an increasing chance of rain and strong winds returning towards the end of the period.

UK Outlook for Thursday 26 Apr 2018 to Thursday 10 May 2018:
Conditions in late April and the start of May are likely to become unsettled with an increased chance of wet and windy weather, however signals are weak for how long such a spell may continue. While the confidence is low, the most likely scenario is for mixed conditions through early May, with perhaps some longer, drier periods but also a chance of cooler temperatures if a northerly flow becomes established.
