Possible the oddest way to get into farming but I may have been gifted 600acers of grass in a will.
Information is scratchy but it's been grass for over 40years it had the remains of a farm house and yard removed in the late 40s early 50s no connection to power water ect questionable hgv access. It's been cut till this year for dilate so access to modern kit just be possible somewhere around the land.
I have no start up capital if I accept the gift I can not sell it for 20years
If you where offerd this gift when you have no capital extremely limited experience would you take it I am allowed 2 sight visits of 1hr before I decide.

I would. The only acres I had given to me were because my undies were too tight!

Sounds like an ideal spot for a dairy contract farmer, location is key or the contract they are already operating

being the owner of that amount of land with no debt I can’t see not having start up capital to hand being an issue!
