6320 oil lost through radiator

Our 04 John Deere 6320 was running fine, no overheating or smoke, oil and water both clean. Within the space of a minute it pushed all it's engine oil into the radiator and out the coolant overflow. Stopped engine soon as light came on so shouldn't be any damage. Checked dipstick and no oil on it. Checked it again half hour later and oil and water had flowed back in and filled the sump. Maybe a plug blown out or something burst? Any thoughts on where to start looking much appreciated!

As said, it's the oil cooler....Situated on the right hand side of the engine, towards the front of the block... Simple enough to replace. But you'll probably need to change the oil and coolant a couple of times at short intervals to remove contamination.....
