It would be interesting to have a graph showing the increase in tractor prices relative to say HGV,s or cars for instance.

Ok i will have stab at this.

In 1996 we paid £15k for a landrover 90 county hardtop. with 111hp, cassette player, wind up windows steel wheels etc.

in 2016 we paid 21k for a ford ranger double cab. with 200hp auto box, climate control power windows, heated seats, bluetooth, sat nav etc etc etc.

The Ford looks an absolute bargain compared to the Landrover. especially as it got nicked a few years later as security of it was none existent.

This is the thing do you sell them now when there in demand or keep them untill 10k hours??
I keep pondering that one as my NH TMs are holding there value well at the moment. However it will still cost me to change for something newer so they can stay for now.

This os my way of thinking aswell but im tempted to shop in for a new one but i dont feel that these new tractors are progress for me anymore and i convince myself im better off with what ive got maybe if i was 25 again id just do it lol

That's good, but what would a 3000hr 6125r with similar spec be
I paid 55k for a 800hr 3year old 6125r ,50k and brand new MX T410 last year and I guess it's worth every penny of what I paid for it now pretty much if sold by the trade as it was bought from (main dealer) + now over 1800 hours.

That was a good deal, not many sought after tractors at that age with as little hours on the clock
