6r loosing air

In the last few weeks my 6215 Deere is loosing air from the brakes. If it’s turned off for any longer then 15 minutes when started up the red low pressure light is on pressure is right down until it builds up. Does anyone know where to start looking? as I’m guessing there is a leak somewhere.

Look behind the cab near the air drier. I have pressure washed through an air pipe there in the past. Also check the connections to air brakes couplers

Have a hire 215 here at the mo and the air brakes are playing up. They have replaced a valve under the cab, apparently it is fairly common. Didn’t see the job done so can’t give much more info but it hasn’t solved the problem

If your surroundings are quiet enough, you should hear some hissing??

Squirty bottle filled with a strong mix of washing up liquid and water. Spray on air brake components, hoses and fittings till you find the leaking air blowing bubbles. Not as quick as the listening test, but doesn't need such a good pair of ears either.

Is there a trailer plugged into it or is it losing air directly from the tractor...check the valve on the coupler?

Thanks for the replies it’s leaking without a trailer connected so will have a good look around tomorrow.

Drain on air tank is often a good place to start looking…after that the couplers on the back then everywhere else.
