I've not clicked the link. Bit straight off the bat here;


Probably 70% of that 70% of land is unsuitable for any other form of agriculture 🤦🏻‍♂️ can't grow grain or other crops in any sustainable fashion in upland/rocky/mountainous areas - which are the majority of the planets land surface


And livestock agriculture - meat - is the most efficient protein source we have...

you should he explains it very simply why these statistic's used against our industry are so misleading

I read that sheep farming is rubbish because it is is only 1% of production from 20% of UK land area. Therefore the inference it should be made more efficient or abandoned. This is what the public sees and questions where their tax goes.

Try combining or growing carrots on Cumbrian fells then
