Probably 70% of that 70% of land is unsuitable for any other form of agriculture can't grow grain or other crops in any sustainable fashion in upland/rocky/mountainous areas - which are the majority of the planets land surface


And livestock agriculture - meat - is the most efficient protein source we have...
