They look good but I can't help feel if it's wet enough to need them the drill should probably be in the shed not the field
I dunno. I mean it may not matter too much if it is wet at drilling

Roughly £95 each + £1000 postage + import taxes I gave up working it out at this point especially as jd quoted £86 each with no fright or import tax costs .How much is a mudsmith ?
Seems my local JD dealer is a bit greedy quoting 95.91 then! Will have to have a quiet word in the morning with them.Roughly £95 each + £1000 postage + import taxes I gave up working it out at this point especially as jd quoted £86 each with no fright or import tax costs .

Well when/if JD offer them as an extra DONT spec them on your new drillNot too fussed on narrow press wheels personally. Could compact side wall more
I took my drill out today on a really wet 10acre field purposely to try and block up the new wheels , I drilled the whole field ( some parts were pretty awful ) I didn't have a single blocked wheel they didn't even get close to stopping . The arm that holds the wheel now acts as a scraper instead of a brake , any build up of soil on the wheel is simply knocked off and falls out though the spokes . The field I drilled was probably to wet to be on but it proved a point these wheels DO defiantly work . Come on John Deere get them on the options list for a 750a .... And guttlers , narrow press wheels , fertiliser placement kit , row cleaners etc etc before the competitors really leave you behind .

That's the complete unit with 112mm wide tyres although I did find a part number for a narrower tyre but no stock anywherethat's just the wheel or new tyre as well ? is it the same tyre or narrower ?
It would prob bung up one side and just go round in circlesI would love to see half drill decked with these and go in a field
I will post some pics tomorrow , you would not believe these will still turn . I drilled 40ha today in some pretty wet and sticky conditions and have not had a single blocked wheel . The only thing I've had problems with today are the seed firming wheels not all turning but after a quick scrape they were fine .
85% closed but plenty of seed on so hopefully will be ok . Yes still use weights just one in today and full Spring pressure slot was just crimped like a pie crust in the really wet places . Going to work on a replacement for the guttlers this winter . And Will before you say it I don't want those spike wheel things !Was the slot closing? Guess you still use those weights?
