Or, you could price the coil ones above, having only 3 spokes instead of 4, they are going to have a lot more trash clearance
I have just checked the JD parts website and these are now listed at over £200 each!
Is this correct? Will I get a better price from my local dealer?
The part number has also changed to AA98187
How much are Mudsmiths now?
Beeversales are the uk dealers .Anyone know anything about this French Company?
They appear to make a spoked wheel equivalent but I can't find the model number for a 750 here

No we had JD onesDid you buy any of these?
Best advice to dateThey look good but I can't help feel if it's wet enough to need them the drill should probably be in the shed not the field
I ran a spoked gauge wheel alongside standard gauge wheels last Autumn to give it the most extreme comparison challenge possible. I ran it behind the tractor wheel, a zone where I found standard gauge wheels stalled. I completed autumn drilling on December 9th, a day where I experienced a considerable number of blockages. The spoked wheel accumulated a considerable amount of mud which did cause it to sometimes run slowly. However I advocate using the standard gauge wheel, because I have yet to find a better indicator of when to park a 750A drill in the shed than the standard gauge wheel. Almost every spring sown crop has outperformed my autumn crops (except wheat after vining peas). Moving to spoked wheels would not only have cost a considerable amount of money but would have encouraged me to persevere with a futile exercise.
I suppose the cheapest replacement in the long run is the one that provides the longest service, which I suspect is the Needham, but would be interested to know if anyone has found any that last longer?Good point. I've broken a couple of my guage weels and so I need to buy some new ones and thought even spoked aftermarket would be cheaper than JD original
