7740 sl E51

Hi , Looking for some feedback on an issue with a 7740 SL. Nine times out of 10 it displays an E51 fault on startup with warning sound and wont shift smoothly until warning buzzer stops otherwise it snaps forward and stalls, can go for hours no problem in forward only gears ,but if shuttling say with round bales reverse selection seems to worsen the fault.. Can't setup clutch as E51 fault permanently displayed ..appreciate any suggestions.

what transmission you got, dual power 12 x 12, 16 x 16 pre-quad mod or 16 x 16 quad mod. also what hyd system ccls pump or two separate, and have you got edc lift..

Its dual power 12x12..hyd sys is two seperate ..not sure what edc lift is ..managed to do clutch setup but made no difference

EDC is electronic lift not mechanical you will have an edc panel on right near pto switch..if fitted,picture on right as juhal stated temp switch check for broken terminal,or wire it's open circuit [ not making contact]. come back if you can't find fault i will tell you where wire go's..
