Ford 7810 still looks great and has bags of charisma, this gives it the "want it" factor.....................7840 had no charisma and until recently held the "most bland looking successor" title in the tractor world..................John Deere wrestled that title of Ford when replacing the lovely 30 series with the ultra dull looking 6R range......yyyyyyyaaaawwwwnnnnnn!!

was tractor driving in the 90s had both new on farm go 7810 , i had the most sluggish 7840 ever built not a good replacement for the 7810 i drove !

The 7840 is the better tractor, for obvious reasons. For the back of the shed, though, the 7810 would be a safer bet as the 8340 is far more collectable than it's smaller sibling.

looking at his current collection I imagine they arent really destined for work. 7810 is the more collectable machine out of the two quoted
