7930 auto power pto fault

Hi Everyone

Got a 7930 the pto wont engauge on if you flick switch in the cab nothing happens, if you push button to switch to fender control it says pto switch faulty, also getting a warning coming on saying secondry brake failure?

If any one had a wiring diagram for this tractor I would be very happy!

Chances are the fender switch has failed, it’s quite common but the codes would help.

As for the secondary brake system, do you put stuff behind the plastic panel just below the exhaust? There’s a pressure transducer on a little valve block in there, it usually gets the end snapped off!
Again though, codes would help narrow the fault.

had a look today mice had chewed the wire off the solinoide with managed to repair it, Still got secondry brake fault but that dosnt seem to cause any problem think the mice have had a nibble else where

My 7930s used to throw Secondary Brake faults regularly. The dealer said not to worry about it & when they had other reasons to strip the front axle down there was little wear in the front brakes.

It always was a very temperamental system, usually the sensor fails or goes out of calibration. RE581543 £74.32

What dose the secondery brake actually do?
It’s an emergency brake (little orange switch), also operates in proportion to the foot brake to operate the front brakes.
The little orange switch is also proportional, so if you move it slowly it applies the front brakes. Bang it the switch on and it will lock the front axel, when it’s working that is.
