Hello all got a pair of these on the back of my tractor for umbilical spreading how low a pressure can I run them at? Tyres are continental off a krone forager originally
The tractor weights 6.5-7t and carry’s at most 2t on rear linkage but only at low speed all the heavy stuff goes on a trailer for roadwork

You’ll need to weigh the back axle on a weighbridge to use the Continental charts accurately. Guessing the weight risks either tyre damage or unnecessary compaction. £5 to use a weighbridge is good value either way.

run 850x65x38 at 6psi with acombi unit and maize drill weighing 3250kg empty no problems (trelleborgs). run up the road at max 35k . do not go faster as heats up tyres . if i was umbilical spreading i would go as low as 4psi but no roadwork

I don’t really know anything about tyres but would tyres off a forager be so heavy duty it’s the sidewalls holding you up being used on such a light application?

When you bare in mind a big maize header is 4.5t, plus on a forager you’ve got all the heavy end of the forager on the front too, I’d guess they are designed for having 15t+ on that axle.

You'll probably struggle to get an accurate inflation pressure as the charts will not go low enough IME as the tyres are designed for combine type weights. TBH if you are keen for low pressures you probably should have some VF tyres, there are quite a few 710 sizes available in VF.
As mentioned above it is roadwork which will be the problem.
I think you have to let them down as low as you dare and see what they look like, but is a few psi too much going to affect your soil or margin, probably not, whereas a new tyre might.

I may rig up a airline with a T in and two connections so I could blow them up at the same time before going on the road I have a 150cfm compressor with me at all times anyway
I did think with them being of a forager they could be stiff but they do flex at 10psi and should stand some pain If they were designed to take 15t

the only numbers on them say AC70N

If you have a bit of weight on the front so all the weight is not balanced on the back axle you won’t have anymore than 4 ton on each rear tyre. If you are not putting a high torque load through them I bet you could run at 6 to 7 psi. Can’t help much more than that unless you weigh machine
