Well grown 26-31month old hereford & hereford-cross heifers, pd scanned in calf and due in late autumn to a purebred Sussex bull. We are in a TB4 area (Hertfordshire).

I’d like £1,150 per head but open to sensible offers

Yes, I had a look at this and I bet a Sussex x Hereford would be an useful beast. Calving a bit late in the year for me, though. Lovely heifers @The Ruminant

Thank you, I’m very pleased with them.
I’ve put them up for sale because I was starting to get low on grass ahead of the cattle, with the persistent dry weather. Naturally this decision caused the heavens to open...... I’m still going to sell to be prudent, but will be sorry to see them go. I have some of the previous year’s animals and they’ve got some cracking calves - one bull calf in particular is a belter.

Here’s the bull calf. He’s had nothing but grass and milk - and you can see from the background that the grass is not good quality!
