9 inch ifor williams trailer wheels

Evening all. Anyone have one of those old ifor williams hay trailers - single axle, carry 3ton, and has 9 inch split rim wheels? I need new wheel/tyre for mine! I've been told that 185/60/12 is interchangable with them - due to a lower profile tyre I guess. There is only about an inch of clearance between the tyre and trailer floor on the original wheel tyre, so the new wheel can't be much bigger! Maybe I'll have to buy 2 new wheels and lower the axle. We used to have a trailer like that. I think there is a spare wheel for it in our 'stores'.
I will have a look in the morning.

Thanks, but I've seen these - they look similar to ours, but the centre of the wheels is all wrong for our hub. Pity as they'd be a good buy!

Hi,desperately looking for a spare wheel, 9" split. Missed out on four with tyres last eve on eBay! If it helps. I use 600 x 9 Redestein tyres. You need the 99 option for the psi and the weight. They are available as got a price yesterday.£75 plus vat.

I'm all sorted now. 185/60/12 fit perfect. I never imagined a 12" wheel could replace a 9" one - but it does!! Low profile tyre is the difference. £81+vat(wheel and tyre) Carrys the same weight(900kg)

Unfortunately I've not been able to find the one I thought we had - it must have gone when we traded in the trailer.
