I think it was the one for sale in Germany for a while, then ended up on a farm near Peterborough. JD have supposedly never built a 5m drill, so I think someone else put it together.

Yes- professionally modified by Bernard Schluter in Germany - a 6m model made down to 5m
My client imported it and is now selling because he no longer needs a drill

Same here. Firming wheels are an older type as well.

The older coulters are harder to depth adjust and I think the boots are in a different part of the disc shadow so leave a wider slot to fill. Also the firming wheels are a lot chunkier so end up just forcing the walls of the slot wider.
