You really are desperate... he didn't extend again and there's just been a law passed guaranteeing we leave at the end of this year, any more rolling over like that and it'll be two fingers up to the EU and no-deal. :ROFLMAO:
[/QUOTE]
But he accepted, and got passed ,a deal that TM rejected as not good enough! And you think this is a win?!

But we had all lost the will to live. And the leavers were getting even more restless. And the war of attrition was purely a political ploy to allow Johnson to assume the mantle of PM refused him when Gove turned him over in 2016. Great fun.

And this is justification ? Rolled over and surrendered TMs position, accepted a lesser deal, and thats a victory?

No idea.

As I keep on saying I am an ordinary Joe. In the back of the plane reliant on the pilot and ground control. Reckon I am like most folk in the UK. Not much I can do now the politicians are elected.

I follow the threads on here as the two tribes seem to bat it out. But at end of the day little I can do. I cast my vote in June 2016. June 2017 and Dec 2019. And that was it. But from the election coverage in November and December on several different channels there seemed a desire from the electorate for it all to be over.

Hey ho. It is over now.

Many of the electorate have the attention span of a goldfish. They think its all over????? I fear they are going to be disappointed , this will drag on for years.

Lesser to you, but you want a subservient UK in your EU and this keeps us well out of it. That's why you're sulking, still, because we're out of your EU and you know full well that we'll not be back. Your marooned! :ROFLMAO:

Well, you and other whining losers will certainly drag on for years. Fortunately - for the rest of us - that's marginally more amusing than it is irritating. :)

I tend to concurr. And I think many of the electorate have, understandably, simplified the arguments, away from the true complexity.

When I say its all over, I am referring to the potential for another referendum and /or revoke; that died with the return of the Conservative and Brexit Party to government with a majority in parliament and a promise to finish Brexit.

I consider that result meant a chunk of the electorate concluded the ship had cast off and was now underway, albeit the initial phase would be slow until the ship reaches the open sea. What a metaphor - not often I am poetic! And yes, hey ho. I assume there will be ups an downs in the coming year as negotiations progress. I expect a few stand offs. Whether we reach another cliff edge and jump off or back down, well time will tell.

The Withdrawal Agreement is the main thing the EU was after. Then Boris actually gave them a better deal than TM had negotiated by agreeing to their original terms. I only hope they can do better in the trade negotiations with the EU and US, but it has all the signs of a lamb to the slaughter.

Ha! If you think that you really can't see the wood for the trees. :)
