Started life looking like this.

Modified by adding a spindle and new bearing and housing. Crank to go on the end of the spindle.

Eventually mounted on a trolley to be towed behind the quad. Wheels are a bit on the small side, need to go looking for slightly bigger and more robust wheels. These are spanker barrow wheels off eBay. Much cheapness, but have buckled one already!
Then again I dont want it too portable, too easy for people to borrow it! I have made the axles and drawbar in sockets so they can be removed and the frame lowered to the ground if you have yo get it in a small traphouse. Will try and get a video of it working uploaded.

Made some step covers for the tractors from Ali tread plate so the pooch doesn't break a leg when jumping into and out of the tractor. When she was young she would clear all the steps but now she up is getting older she is starting to use them. Only problem is I have to be careful now incase I break a leg, as they are a bit slippier than the original steps! Lucky I fix for free on the NHS, unlike the mutt.

I use truck spray suppression flaps to do the same job, however it’s also grippy for humans, and is good for cleaning your boots.

Is that a LiDL £19 special yellow sack barrow in pic 2?

I have had a lot of years, might have been from a mail order company Northern Tool and Equipment which isn't on the go now. don't use it much but worth having in the corner of the shed, certainly saves the back when required.

I only asked because mine is the same and came from Lidl, Had a tyre burst after a couple of uses but they are just cheap invalid tyres of the bay.

Maybe not the best thought out design but I wanted to make a trolley on which to set my pressure washer/jetter so I could move it round the shed when it was dropped off the tractor. Had some castors lying under the bench, some angle and a few welding rods.

Some pipewelding, worthy of the bodge thread.
Hoping to do some more tonight after the kids are bedded.

Make sure someone doesn’t cut 10inches off your handy greasy and shiny centre shaft to make some bushes while you’re repairing the roller!! No it did not look like an off cut, off cuts are not 10foot long and covered in grease!!! Long story (n)(n)(n)

There goes my padded shirt and jumper! Maybe it's time to invest in a fire retardant boiler suit. Or at least correctly set the guard on the grinder.

First frame coming near ready to tack together. Still have the drawbar to make.

Did you try and weld it back on, expensive to get a new one of them?

Gave up on wood years ago, steel on steel works and lasts well with a bit of lube
What size of steel block do you use? Not the same as the wooden block dimensions surely? I haven't sussed out what to make it from yet, but was wondering if making it from layers of plywood glued together would b strong enough. Or a lump of random hardwood being the ideal.
