Sons friend had an electrical issue in his house
called in a sparky to check it out and this is what he found from a previous effort.

Its fine so long as the other end is also wired up the same wrong way! Had seen consignments of Chinese made solar panels, pre-fitted with a length of cable problem was about a quarter of them arrive wired up with positive on the black wire rather than the red

Found circuit here other month earth not wired in .lighting circuit, in next room sockets coming of that circuit. Out building.
I had used my 3 light test plug thingy previously but as socket is high up it looked like all 3 were lit .
Tis worrying isn't it, bloody easy to cut thru a flex aint it.....
