Done. Farming both conventional and organic here. In an ideal world a mix of both would be perfect. Why top a field every 10 days for half the year to get rid of half the population of a weed when a small dose of pesticide would do it. I know a few big farms who were organic and have gone back conventional as they spent all year, especially winter trying to achieve stale seedbeds. Their biggest bill was diesel by far. When they went back conventional the diesel useage dropped dramatically and they were actually able to go DD.
