So going of weather station we've had roughly 1200mm in last 18 months and roughly a metre in last 12 months. Annual average is about 600-650mm. Good job we've got day length at the moment or it would be a right mess.

Normal rainfall here according to my neighbour is 3ft per year jan-dec , last year we had 6ft , this year so far 3ft till beginning of july , a lot of water

Here in west Tyrone NI from mid June 23 to mid June 24 iv recorded 1639mm. First year recording rain so no idea how that compares to past wet years

We were desperately in need of rain until late Monday/Tuesday night when we had a decent soak , 15mill according to my phone, but nothing worthwhile since other than some light drizzle which amounts to nothing,, could do with a wet weak really.
Yet watching the tv this morning it seems some parts of the country have had much more,

As you're from Yorkshire you'll be well aware of the 4 Yorkshiremen sketch but your amount must be "luxury" I dread to think what we've had in Cumbria.

Last 12 months 1,317mm here. About 400mm more than average.

July 24 i have had 80mm so far, and it was needed after a dry june, grass had stopped growing but it is flushing up nicely now.

Nawt but water Customer rang up Thursday morning (last of the single cuts)weather looks good for Sunday so I’m going to mow grass and let land dry so we can travel pick it up Sunday and Monday,an other customer rings up Friday third cut ready what’s your plans I say chopping Sunday and Monday he says no panic I’m short staffed anyway but keep me updated.so pee'd down most of yesterday so land getting wetter not drier ,third cut man rang me last night I’ve cut my grass 200 acres, and its pee'd down all day today as well . no wonder I am about to sick
