While nothing can replace a real ploughing match there will be a virtual ploughing match that has almost been built ( on a ground up interactive platform) that will host a match on the 26 September 2020 .
Classes will be like any other match , competitors will be asked to send in a set of photos ( with set parameters) and video if possible ,every class and competitor can be seen
by the visitors and the classes will be judged ( and some modest prizes hopefully to boot ) .Entry will be £10 for each entry with all of that money going straight to the air ambulance in the respective area from where the entrant comes from . The match will have trade stands and be made to feel as much as a show, as virtual allows . The hope is that it can be an event anyone anywhere can take part in , and competitors can complete their ploughing ahead of the match if that works better with work on the farm .At the end of the day hopefully it will prove a bit of fun and raise some money for the air ambulances. A full announcement will be coming soon , but any input from TFF members and the ploughing experts among you all is appreciated ,already we have great feedback from a number of people wanting to enter already and a number of groups/society's inc The Society of Ploughman

There is plenty of time between now and the 26th ,hopefully you can find a bit of land and a plough to keep your hand in, and then enter the match , the more the merrier

Its a very good enough idea and most definitely a worthy cause and at least it will give those of us who aren't farmers or have land to plough something to watch.
Hopefully with an open window of time it may give you the chance to find a bit of land to turnover and maybe a few of you could get together and do a bit of ploughing
the more the merrier and very much hope you can find a way to join in with everyone but great if you can attend either way

Entry is now open to VPlough , details are on the website on how to enter and upload entries .We really hope it gives those with no near bye ploughing matches to attend the opportunity to get your own plough out ,or maybe few a ploughs together and compete against family ,friends or neighbouring farms while also supporting the great air ambulance charities

The entry date has been extended and we really hope that as many ploughmen as possible can support the air ambulance as well as keep their
talents honed with their ploughs

Extended closing date of 31st October so dont forget to enter online at www.vplough.co.uk - photos / videos welcome. They can be historic as well so dont worry if you cant find some ground to plough this year!!
