A question to those with experience of Dicurane

We have a product here (one called Vario) that has the same make up as dicurane used to have.
I have some here for use but never managed to get any on.
When I used to use it in the uk, it was always in November (usually seemed to be during children in need week) and actually I can’t remember how effective it was.
So, I have some areas that are quite dirty, wild oats, a bad patch for charlock but I can’t see much yet, always plenty of cranesbill and buttercups (acid soil), no black grass here.
Thinking it will be a false spring in February when I get to this, will this dicurane type chem do a useful job or would I be better keeping it for another year and move on to Atlantis (bizarrely here, Atlantis has no label recommendation for autumn, only fir the end of winter into spring.
Crops are wheat and triticale, plus the same situation with barley, I think I’ll use it on the barley as no Atlantis option of course.
Patches are bad for wild oats so I would rather like to control them🥺

Make sure the varieties you are growing are tolerant of CTU first.
Best applied to moist cool soils, so your Nov timing was spot on.
Weeds could be quite large by Feb, so by then Atlantis type products probably best.

Thanks Andy - wheat is soisant (sp) so that’s ok👍
what size wild oats do you think it controls? (They do seem to be racing away at the moment😕)

Nothing approved here other than a blend of CTU, DFF and PDM as Tower from Adama. I don't know how much is used these days. The CTU dose/ha is much less than it used to be so efficacy is less. It was turning up in water, hence the reduced ai dose.

It never fails to amaze me how things vary between the UK and France.

Avadex in france is liquid form only (480g/litre) and legal on sugar beet, rape, peas, clover, linseed, sunflowers and barley.

Not allowed on wheat at all and on barley only allowed if incorporated pre drilling.

Me neither. Ag chems have varied quite a lot across the EU which I always found very odd.

Atlantis in my mind is an autumn herbicide, switching to Pacifica in the spring. Here, Atlantis is only for use after the end of winter🤷‍♂️.
Mind, I was in and out of terrena a bit in the autumn and I couldn’t help but notice the pallets of it came and went and came and went :pompous:
