just wondered as i had entered a nice clean DP8 B in there this time, plus a few sets of tyres, will ring in the morn before we go out and "attempt" to drill some more wheat...
 
Often used to discuss doing that to a 178 to give a bit more oomph to crawl up steep hills with a Land-drive lime spreader, were just dubious whether the ground-speed pto gears would be strong enough, have seen us snap off a pto stub.. luckily not at the top of a steep grass field with a nearly-full spreader and 2wd..:eek::poop:

Dad had a 188 a turbo, 4wd and part time power steering when he started, coupled to a David Harber spreader. It was a man killer, but it would go anywhere. When he sold the spreader it went to Wales.
