Somebody already said it takes a flood to break a drought, so an ark would seem appropriate
Pretty much - we got dryish here this summer and can report a few inches of rain doesn't make it "over" - we will be in recovery for a few months yet, and finances are back a year or two (n)

If it was easy, every man Jack would be a farmer: enjoy not wearing bloody waders and making mud - it seems to arrive sooner than the pots of filthy lucre do (y) :)

Drawing lambs this morning, the plan was to draw 2kg heavier than 2 weeks ago as they didn't kill as heavy as we'd have liked.

Looked at 10days weather forecast.... wall to wall heat so we've probably ended up drawing abit lighter if anything
Better gone then melting under the sun plus the grass is turning yellow now here

Letters of appreciation and gifts to me please, I knew it was going to be a great summer the moment I made the decision to reduce my hay making area this year.

I also had a few days away in Pembs in May, and came back with a tan, which is more unlikely than winning the lottery. Normally I have to wring the rain out of my clothes when I get back to England:D
