As above. Have been tasked by She Who Must Be Obeyed, to find out the status of our cows and their milk.
Thanks. By whom? It's a genetic test - believe it can be taken from milk or tissue/blood
Thanks. By whom?
Jersey.what breeds are they
I don't have a milk buyer currently. Looking at going into on farm processing.when bull customers want bulls doing I've sent hair to Muller their milk buyer.
Jersey.
They should be ok, can't remember if it's A1 or A2 that is the bad one but it tends to come from HolsteinsJersey.
No, ice cream.Would think that Wetherbys genetic services will be able to help.
Looking at bottling milk?
Thanks, I will. That is what we do in our main direct retailing business.. . . in which case the A2 milk will have no real benefit to your products other than a small minority of people's perception that A2 ice cream may be better for them
A2 milk after all is only really proven to help reduce type 2 diabetes. (Do you really need this in ice cream?)
If I was you I wouldn't worry too much about the 'A2' factor, but concentrate on product quality and provenance.
