No, I didn't go. I got the report on Tuesday night and had to scrape my jaw off the ground at the average

Sold this 40 off farm just now for £89. Average 40kg. Probably should have put them through the ring but the buyer was a friend and will potentially be a repeat customer for bigger numbers. I know you all said £100 but Innovis recommended £15 over fat price to me and the buyer

Yes I would say so. They are going to an NZ Suffolk this year I believe

....as yearlings they would be cheap at £130 and plenty would ask £140-£150. Someone would pay £160. Funny thing sheep.

Yrl mules making £150+ at Bryncir last week. White faces typically making £15 more than Suffolks.

Anyone who has sold aberfield x Chev through the ring, have they announced they are by an aberfield or just sold as Chev mules. A lot of folk I have talk to don't know of aberfield and farmers being farmers they don't like anything new. I have at least 40 but not sure how to sell

So if inovice told you to stick your finger in the fire you would! If you can get more than £15 over fat price go for it. I see the point in using Aberfield if the ewe lambs are for your own use. But if your breeding ewe lambs for sale BFL is your friend.
