Abortion of OSR flowers

Can anyone shed any light on what is going on here?

What’s the weather been like the past few nights. Unlikely to be frost as the leaves don’t look touched. Sterile sites here are usually associated with heat blasting. Above 28c and low humidity the flowers will dry up before being pollinated. Helps to have bees in the field working the morning shift.

Yes it's the frosts of late, seen it before, sure it'll be fine unless it gets flattened by the snow due tomorrow.....!!! We had snow once when it was in full flower, flattened the lot and never recovered, a long long time ago now
