Abrasive Discs

I've had a re-stock of discs and thought i'd put them all in one thread rather than try to update all the original ones as some prices have changed a little. It'll also be easier to mix and match this way.

I'm out of Norton Blaze and the Norton flap discs now.

I do have some imported (Chinese, not to everyone's taste I know!!) 40 grit flap discs. They work out at £6.50 inc vat per pack of ten. I can get one or two packs in a Royal Mail 2nd class delivery for £3.50 inc vat.

They are not as good as the Norton ones but this is reflected in the price. I do use them myself and i'd say that you'd use three of them where you'd use two Norton Neon ones, but thats just me, it obviously all depends on how you use them.

What’s current stock @ mad welder? Needing to place an order.
Bit sparse at the moment to be honest.
I have the Dronco 4.1/2" grinding and the Chinese 40 Grit flap discs priced as in this thread.

I have no 9" cutting discs and the only 4.1/2" cutting I have are some Intergrind ones which work out at £11 ex vat per pack of 25. Not sure how many I've got, I can look tomorrow.

Right, I've ordered some more Dronco cutting discs and am able to hold the prices as per the start of the thread. All the lines I currently have available are below.

The Dronco cutting discs should be with me within the week hopefully. I've listed the 9" as individual discs and as a pack at a slightly better rate as it saves splitting a pack. I'll add the expiry dates for the cutting discs when I get the stock but they will be at least 2022, probably longer.

Worth doing 125mm discs too if you can get stock.

I tend to only buy what I use myself then I never get stuck with stuff that 'need' to sell.

However, a pack of 25 Dronco attack would be £11.50 ex vat if I buy in at least 10 packs.

If I can get orders for 5 Packs from somewhere, I'd chance my arm or perhaps just buy a 125mm guard for one of my grinders!!

How many can I put you down for?:cool:

There’s logic in that.

I like 125mm as they last longerand can cut through something a little bigger. I had some steel water pipe to cut the other day in a hole and a brand new 125mm disc was only just enough.

I bought some the other day in fact....a pack of 5 from Screwfix to get me out of a hole. £5.99!!

I then picked up a pack of 25 Parweld from Amazon for £11.95 delivered tho I see they do them for £9.70 currently. (Inc vat). Makes your ex Vat Dronco prices seem good value I think even with delivery on top.

I’d happily have a pack or two next time I need some(y)
