Accord fert spinner seized

One of the discs is seized on our Accord spinner. Haven't taken one apart before. I am presuming you have to take off agitator and drive shaft and then remove gearbox mounting studs and the whole thing will drop out.
Grateful for any advice and suggestions of what may be wrong.

I have just had my KV Accord Exacta HL in penny bits over the floor because the gearbox seized sitting over winter.
Not sure I did it the right way but on mine I removed the agitators disconnected the slide coupling between the T box and the outside ones, undid the bolts holding the hopper to the frame and lifted the hopper about 2-3". That gives you enough clearance to remove the bolts and slide the box sideways off the holding frame, the outside gearbox cant drop down because of the flange the disc is mounted on.
No idea if other models are the same.

If its the outside box, the seal under the disc will be goosed and a water and fert mix will have knackered the top bearing, only found ours was on way out because I had removed it to get to the middle gearbox. 2 bearings and a seal in to fix it.
The centre box suffers the same with water entering in the unused input shaft(two speed) and seizing the outer bearing. Mine was rusty inside with damp ingress, likely from before I got it(2seasons here) 7 FAG bearings and 4 seals from independant supplier was less than a third of the kit from KV.

Shafts are grooved and pitted now so it will go again, I was needing it going so it was thrown back together, ideally a sleeve or shaft refaced would be better. Winter project maybe.

Unimpressed to be honest, I had a Amazone for about 15yrs before this one and it never had a spanner near it.

Had the same thing on our CL this year. Since it was liquid grease, rather than oil, we put the seals in the wrong way round this time to try and help keep the water out. Doesn't seem to be leaking any grease out so far 🤞

Also going to try changing the grease at the end of the season by sucking it out with an old lamb stomach tube syringe.

Thanks,
Sounds as if mine is just the same, outside box on left is solid, right one see a ok but obviously doesnt move far as they are still joined together.
Do you have the numbers of the bearings and seals?
Can't remember the numbers, sorry. But I just measured them with the calliper while I was on the phone to them and they all came correct. They're all standard sizes, shouldn't be a problem.

Make sure you check the casing we bought a s,h 2016 machine that had abit of play on input shaft , stripped it down got seals and barings started to refit and noticed a small hole in casing , gave it a good wire brushing and there was quite a hole that had corroded through !!

From memory on the outside box the top bearing is 6007 2 rs, and the bottom one 6012, didn't change the input ones, the seal Is a stupid little narrow one, can't remember the number.
To be fair to them it's all standard bearings and seals easily got on internet or bearing supplier.
Disappointing that mine isn't the only one and my box is corroding badly too.
Design failure there.
