Just playing devils advocate is the distribution accurate enough on an accord metering head? Someone might know better but all the Avadex spreaders I have seen have used individual metering wheels for accuracy. I just wonder if you start using long runs of tube on the booms you may get a reduced air flow and uneven delivery on the furthest sections. I just wonder if it’s worth getting your hands on a drill and try running some avadex through and weighing the delivered quantities through different length tubes before you start the project?

Take it back, I have just looked at Techneat and that’s how they do it. They do use two units for section control on the larger machines though.

We built a 24m 48 outlet avadex spreader using 2 accord metering units and it worked very well .
