We've been considering changing our accountants for a while, but it's a bit like changing your doctor who knows all your stuff. The company we dealt with has been taken over numerous times and is now part of a blue chip multi national group and charges accordingly. The bod who has been looking after us for the last few years has left and it stems like a good point to move.

Any recommendations ? Thoughts or who to avoid?

I highly recommend Chavereys, probably about six partners, based in Kent with an office near Cambridge. They come out to you. They focus on farms and estates.
