Great vid in the link below, now part of my daily routine. From what I have learnt, insoles are not the answer, you become reliant on them. Prevention is key, works for me.

I haven't gone down the insole route.
My right foot still gives some aching cramp type pain just in front of the underside of the heel but its not serious. I have found that if I vary the type of footwear as much as I can then it seems to help, as maybe it moves the pressure or strain point about and rests certain areas. I wore my trusty ancient Planetos Plasticos wellies all winter which probably didnt help, but now its dry I can wear my work boots etc.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestions and I hope others find some relief.

Depending if you have a medical condition or not then quite possibly
I would say visit a Dr if you experience bad foot pain just to make sure it's not more serious
