what’s people’s settings on there acrs?
I think I’m over milking the cows on 3x a day and from what I can gather my take off flow rate is 400ml per minute?
What can this be pushed to

Try googling dairynz article on "max t" milking for some interesting reading, certainly makes sense to err on side of leaving milk than overmilking

That's too low. Think willm setting about right. Seen something the other day and they were wanting 3 minute milking for x3

We were set at .9l in the parlour, wouldnt alter it to much in one go maybe .6l for a fortnight and then a little more after that

Same as above 8-900grams/minute for 3x anywhere from 5-800 for 2x. As papuller says probably best to do it in stages

700 here, 2x milking

400 far too low for 3X milking. Keep increasing the setting until bulk tank milk drops. I'd expect you could up it to a litre at least.

On my Fullwood parlour I think their is a 30 second delay after the flow rate drops below the predetermined level. This is too long and I am planning on cutting this right back when the fitters are next out.

Should be 3 seconds 30 seconds could mean that your off time is say 600 and after 30 seconds you might be down to 100

Mines is set at 35 just now going to drop it 5 secs a go and see how far we can go

That's too low. Think willm setting about right. Seen something the other day and they were wanting 3 minute milking for x3

3 minutes how is that possible for a 60/cow I have not seen any our milk meters register more than a flow rate of 7/minute and thats at peak flow. If I look at the pc after milking i would think it's closer to 6munutes per cow per milking and 30/day average on x 2

Changed it last night to 500, lost some milk this morning but back to normal this noon, when should I up it again? Wait another week or faster?

move it up again end next week, little steps, our delay was 9 secs with delaval acr 5000, random facts I can still remember about the parlour

Not sure what made me look at this, but our dairymaster was set at 200g/min, ive just moved it up to 300 and will wait a while now, but this seemed very low!

Seemed to be waiting for cows all the time.

Very funny this as I’ve upped mines this am again! To 550

Just checked mine was .4kg/ min just upped it to .5kg min see what happens
