Ad Blue buying options

We do the same, only 1 tractor and the pickup which needs it so if a neighbour wants to fill his 200 litre barrel they come to me for some as it’s cheaper.
Yes it’s nearly half the price of a 200l drum. I’ve had add blue in there for over a year and had no problems with it.

Have 2 tractors on ad blue (new one does drink it more) but we have decided to stick with the 200L barrel so as to keep it fresh and it's not taking up a whole load of space. Simple handle pump which does weep a bit and you never know when its full till its pi$$ing back out but it's good enough.

The one tractor did have some ad blue issues back in the spring but decided to just put it right (yes a remap would have been cheaper) It's always serviced and up together and has recently had an engine breather and valve clearances done and it's going like an absolute rocket.

I enquired about that Yara Opti Spray after hearing it's a more 'refined product'. Asked my fuel/ad blue supplier, tractor dealer/manufacturer and other contractors and the conclusion was it was a load of pish, (pun fully intended!) More expensive for something that comes out of the same factory to the same British Standard just with a different sticker and fancy name.
