Ad Blue Delete East Anglia

A couple of my tractors have just come out of warranty. Does anyone recommend someone to do the necessary to delete the need for ad blue. I hasten to add that these machines never go on the road. Thanks.

Probably not applicable but maybe worth considering. Are you on a supermarket contract? Would the delete poss affect that contract. Not sure how they would know though

I can never quite work you out, Rob. It's either that you operate in a world where everything is black or white and everyone plays by the rules, or you're an incredibly subtle and effective wind-up merchant.

I won't be offended if you choose to keep me in the dark.

Interestingly I was looking at a Claas tractor with Ad blue last year but was a bit worried about it for Kenya however they said no problem they’d remove it. That was the main dealer. I was surprised that they’d agree to do that.

Our t6180 has had numerous add blu problems under warranty, new nox sensors and injector blockages despite being worked hard. They are coming again this week because it is in limp mode again. The only reason we have to have all of this is the emissions rules for road use.

My stress levels and machine downtime which affect the welfare of my livestock is more important to me than a tiny bit of pollution. The legalities of it only apply if the vehicle goes on a public road.
I am intrigued why people think it only applies to vehicles which go on the road?
As far as I am aware, it doesnt matter if it goes on the road or not.

Much the same as red diesel - for example, canal boats cannot use it...

It was more the fact that supermarket contracts normally come with some very very strict rules. They will try anything to knock you on price. If they found out you had disabled the adblue it may not help your case. However if you aren’t on a supermarket contract then fill your boots.

How would they know. We do loads of audits and I’ve never had anyone go into that level of detail. They are hardly likely to be dipping the tanks.
