I’m not concernedChipping
Just seen that the government are bringing in fines for tampering with systems that make vehicles non standard. It also says it is going to apply to non road vehicles. That will mean no chipping for power increase, dpf removal and the like.thefarmingforum.co.uk

It was always givin trouble durin warranty with the dpf and once outa warranty it started not regenerating and bringin up messages on the screen and me da was for gettin the dealer out to fix it again but i said if i could find some1 that could do away with it wed do that instead. Took them about 45 mins and comes with full years warranty which is about finished now with no problems. Another so called "professional" spent nearly 5 hours at it and couldnt do it at all so i was glad to find that other manIt needed a DPF delete lol.
Why?
It would be a big legal step if VOSA or DOE could come on private land and smog and dyno test tractors , it would make Russia look like the land of the free.Chipping

I don't think anyone likes the engine emission stuff. It was always givin trouble durin warranty with the dpf and once outa warranty it started not regenerating and bringin up messages on the screen and me da was for gettin the dealer out to fix it again but i said if i could find some1 that could do away with it wed do that instead. The real issue is that there are some engines out there that were fine until an emissions kit was shoehorned on as something of an afterthought, and not surprisingly, the kit does not work very well.I don't think anyone likes the engine emission stuff.
There seems to be two groups, those that keep things as they were supposed to be even if it costs money and those that bend the rules.
Those that delete everything and say feck it will eventually bring more restrictions and tests on everyone.
Them guys dipping vehicle tanks looking for red when they should be on derv can come onto private property to check and you can't stop them.It would be a big legal step if VOSA or DOE could come on private land and smog and dyno test tractors , it would make Russia look like the land of the free.
Thats vehicles that have that are known to have been on the public highway and may be evading tax , how you tune an off road vehicle should not be anyone's business but yours.Them guys dipping vehicle tanks looking for red when they should be on derv can come onto private property to check and you can't stop them.
I agree but its implying that the rules I will be applicable to off road vehicles too. There's loads of laws you can't break just because you're on your own property.Thats vehicles that have that are known to have been on the public highway and may be evading tax , how you tune an off road vehicle should not be anyone's business but yours.
Come April next it won’t matter, anything other than ag and forestry is on derv.Thats vehicles that have that are known to have been on the public highway and may be evading tax , how you tune an off road vehicle should not be anyone's business but yours.
