So your government's going a bit loopy too then huh? I thought it was just us....must be a worldwide thing.

Why do some other countries get away without adblue on some machines
Because they only have to comply with their own emissions laws, not ours, I believe some states of America are alot stricter than others, a bit like only very modern lorry engines are allowed into central London but fine elsewhere.

Worst bit is we can produce machines of a old emissions tier aslong as it gets shipped to another country

sure someone on here had a tour of the newHolland factory at Basildon and there still making the old models for other markets
Yep I have a 2016 T 6080 and a 2018 T 7040 tier 3 and a 2020 tier 3 Claas 820. The number of cars, trucks and tractors sold in Kenya is minimal compared with the UK so our pollution levels are very low compared with the developed world.

Last time I was at Agri techna? Show there were tractors with no adblue fitted
so why do we as country jump through the highest hoops to show the rest of world how green we are at great expense, when some don’t bother

When we went round Claas factory there were Xerions and self propelled choppers going down the line with no ad blue that were going to Russia and other countries that don't bend over.

Thing with ad blue the pollution experts (CF) fertilisers are wanting urea use banned because of pollution. Then all new engines are injecting urea based ad blue into exhaust systems?🤷

Nice to see so many concerned about the environment and the future of the planet. I don't think the legislation is in place just to make our lives difficult. We all have to do our bit and a few quid's worth of add blue is hardly a major sacrifice. Failing that, run older tractors and save a pot of money!

Have you been away?

Yes I`m one of the few who has been away / otherwise occupied , there doesnt seem to be much change to how things are now other than for construction?

edit Construction site security will be a business to get into in April then , every machine being full of Derv will be a big target .

So do you think running older tractors are better for the environment and the planet, just because their legall don't make them cleaner or still emitting at the same rate as that left the factor due to wear.
