If I got a adblue delete on my tractor would it invalidate my warranty ? I know the answer is probably yes but just wondering if anyone has done it ?

I have wondered for a while how deleted add blue affects second hand value? Does the seller tell the purchaser? What do you tell a dealer if it’s being traded in and will the dealer know?

personally I wouldn’t touch a tractor with deleted add blue.

Dealers proberly plug laptop in and flash it back to standard

they’ll be loads of tractors in the used trade that have been mapped/chipped

I currently have 3 machines with it about to get another. Other than filters I have never spent anything repairing add blue.

perhaps I’ve just been lucky

With the roads I have to drive on most likely a check when I’ve been hit by somebody else. I have had that happen.
I’ve no idea what the insurance would say, I was asked if a manitou was modified when I put in a claim a couple of weeks ago. I suppose technically you may not be covered by deleting add blue and not informing the insurance.
All this goes without saying that it’s supposed to be better for the environment, and I certainly don’t know weather that is true or not.

It's like most safety issues nowadays - you're fine as long as you don't have have an accident etc, but if they find that you've been doing something you shouldn't have, they throw the book at you to scare others.

The whole point of all this extra ironwork on tractors etc is to reduce emissions, so the government must be keen to make sure that it works all the time as designed.
