I know a few farmers who have lost ewes in those old lamb creeps without the spring loaded bars
There screwed bars that move the whole face across, work really well! Ours are used as footballs by the rams and get tipped sidewards across the field and apart from 1 wheel coming off we’ve had no problems, the wind rolls them to the hedge though :/

Another vote for the Portequip Hogg hoppers.

We have 2 small (200kg??) and 1 big (1200kg). Very well built - the oldest one will be 25yr old, and only just rotting out now.

This time of year they are brilliant when Hoggs really need a bit of feed to finish them... so long as you shift them daily - and can get the telehandler to the big one to fill it.
