Can't remember where I read it but it was an article about viewing figures and it mentioned that a 2nd series had already been commissioned. I could be wrong though...🙂

Clarkson was asked on Twitter if they had started filming a second series. Replied “No” and said that if people wanted a second series, they were to write to Amazon

Which gets taken up by growing crops, ate by animals, emitted as methane and so on, its part of a natural cycle unlike some other sources which just add to the CO2 in the atmosphere

The plants don't chose which CO2 molecule the use though, do they? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I can't agree that CH4 is less of an issue than CO2, as implied in the segment.

No but it works on the same principle as buying electric off a green energy supplier
Or perhaps a better comparison, would be the carbon trading that is now emerging, a buisness with a high carbon footprint effectively pays someone else to sequester carbon, but there’s no way that anyone could claim the same carbon is being sequestered as is being emitted

to much to the right? really!
That's not my opinion, I think they are an over compensating shower of shite, but some class it as a sexist and racist structure given that both people at the top are white and male and every director-general has been a white man, and the board has no black members.

I don't have an issue with this in the slightest, but a lot of our snowflake society don't like this kind of thing.

Dear old Prof Lovelock's theory, yes.
It's all about Chaos Theory, at the root of it. Our Earth has her own closely enmeshed systems ~ but, a bit like the games of pick up sticks, or jenga we play ~ small changes bring about large outcomes.
Fine as long as she doesn't press the exterminate button.😐. James Lovelock still with us I think. Saw him on TV a while back. 🙂

Worth a watch, you certainly wouldn’t get this on the BBC.
That was a great little piece. Yes he got the methane part almost entirely wrong (and didn't mention half of the agricultural emissions were from crops rather than animals) but that's a small quibble frankly. He's not going to turn the govt with this clip but at least someone will have seen it and had a little think to themselves.

Then we learn from Animal Rebellion. Decide what your message is, and just keep repeating it, over and over again, making use of all the media options that exist.
Our problem is we don't even know what our message is.
The biggest problem is that we have thousands of products to promote in thousands of shops

macdonolds just has a hand full of products and all their shops are identical

My only concern with this appearing on GBNews is that it takes on an overtly political slant.

Food supply, environment policies etc should be kept as apolitical and science based as possible.
As opposed to on BBC……

Ive been watching a bit of GB news since figuring out how to retune the tv and I don’t find it overly political, they seem to say out loud all the stuff I was previously shouting at BBC programmes. In my mind it’s the same news as bbc but without the hand wringing, fear of offending, and constant trawling thru history to find something else our ancestors of centuries ago did wrong that needs apologised for.
