Has anyone successfully deleted the adblue from a Mercedes engine as fitted in a 780? Plenty of adverts when searching google and I don’t want a mate from the pub who will do it for £100 cash. I need it done professionally and therefore need to speak to anyone who has done this without issue. I also know that I cannot use the machine on the road without adblue fitted and working. No issue with that here.

I take it you are not on Maxicare? That could cause you issues if you are? If not! Can t see a problem with it really?

the problem on Lexions is its something else to go wrong and does, we have bee lucky and never had an issue but I know of users that have lost days to ad blue system failure

I have heard of plenty that have had issues Clive! I take it you have had it deleted on yours? I would imagine that if you are on Maxicare would it void your warranty?

No ours is not deleted and as I say we haven’t had an issue

I do know plenty that have however so can understand the desire to delete it

Some New Holland users having AdBlue issues this year due to faults and inadequate tank breathers. Unless you are claiming for exhaust problems you’d have a short sharp conversation with your dealer if they walked away from your machine for other faults just because you’d deleted the AdBlue system!

A friend of mines has just done it, a man drove from Devon to do it. They had to get a code sent from the continent to get it going as part of it. Cost about a grand. I think they are happy so far.

harvesters should be exempt from having adblue they are a time critical machine if you cant combine just because the engine want run is a joke we have one and if it plays up it will be deleted

Sorry but that is a bit of a daft suggestion.
If you use your logic then any vehicle can have a reason for being a time sensitive operation and therefore not needing it.
Add blue is just a system to help reduce emissions, occasionally you get problems but at least people are working towards a solution.
