Hi there wondered if any one can help me I've added an extra beacon and tried wiring it up into one of the current plugs that plug into the roof and it keep blowing a 15 amp fuse and don't want to put a bigger fuse in incase it fries the wires.
Not sure what to really do does it need it own supply of power or will it be fine to replace the fuse for a bigger one any help appreciated

A beacon will take nowhere near 15 amp, but how many other lights are off the same fuse? perhaps change them all for LED ones which use less power.
Why do you need 3 beacons?

There 2 standard beacons that come with the tractor and the one i have added is britax dual beacon I tryed wiring the dual one up to just one beacon as they are both individual and plug In to a a supply either side of the cab and it was lying about the shed so made use of it by sticking it on

Common sense might tell you that it's the beacon that's got issues making fuses blow :banghead:

There’s a Massey 7718 near here. 2 beacons on the roof, 2 behind the grille, 2 on the cab front, and 2 chrome mirror backs with flashing strobes on those as well.

Looks like a bloody Christmas tree coming down the road:LOL:
And no matter how wide a machine it has on absolutely nobody will take any notice of them!!!!

Take no notice @Jb224, the old moan bags are out in force ? need to give it a dedicated supply either off the battery or a d plug and a switch in the cab. LEDs don’t make any difference, tried it on ours and know a few locally that have them wired the same

Maybe similar to the situation with NH tractors. Wiring in a 2nd beacon into the existing circuit causes the auxiliary lighting controller to overheat and fail.
No, I haven’t done it myself, even though we do have what the ‘youfs’ refer to as ‘twin whips’(normal FM and Motorola UHF).

I thought the wood up the back was on fire once, then this jd with a similar lighting setup to what you describe emerged pulling an empty bale trailer.
