been looking in to adding a steering and section control system to our 2008 AR Househam (currently got and rds box). Have got are jd dealer doing us a price for 2630 and universal steering wheel. Just wondering if anyone out there is running that system and how they get on with it.
Also are there any other systems people get on well with, topcon, Trimble and a rough cost?

Thanks
Will

Not using the john Deere kit on a housham but have got it on my trailer sprayer and tractor, same system locally 5 other farmers use pretty reliably !

Hi Will,

There are a couple of steering systems ou could fit to the sprayer, we have some Ez-Pilots Ex hire or perhaps a new GFX display night suite, with the new GNSS Reciever ? If you fancy a quick price, feel free to give me a call.

I use trimble field iq for rate and section and just love it. A proper piece of equipment. Rate control doesn't take much extra on initial investment, but the precision amazes me each time in the field.

Have an john deere atu wheel on our 09 ar househam, and have the househam gps shut off, running the john deere wheel of an old brown box, cheapest steering you'll get and itc dome! Great set up you'll love it!

Rob,
I got old 2001 IMP, with LH Agro computer. Do I have to buy Boom Pilot to make them talk with Matrix 430?

Run a atu300 wheel on one of the tractors sf3 6000 dome works really well can’t fault it and other than it being abit slower to get on line after that the performance is just as good as the autotrac ready tractor we have. As for the sprayer we run Topcon x30 on egnos for steering and section control and spraying off grass and applying graminicides on rape I 100% get no gaps. Blight spray potatoes in egnos too but we are in relatively small fields if I got rained off or had to fill mid tank then would have to nudge link back. Great for pre ems tho when can’t see the mark(y)
