Just about to adjust the auger on the Lexion Vario 1200 header to help barley feed in smoother when we get combining again. Looks a fiddly job adjusting the split auger any tips to make the job a little easier would be appreciated. Many thanks.
On my 1230 vario I had to support the reel in the centre with a loadall to be able to remove the rams to get access to the bolts/nuts. Stupid design.
A week later I noticed that the centre was further forward than the ends. . The only adjustment for that is the tolerance in the slots, but potentially possible. You need to check that before you reattach the centre reel ram.
The way to be to get the centre support auger washers/ bolts is to let the reel down as far as it will go,one can then get the bolts /washers reasonably easily.
I only found how to do the above by phoning Claas Western Cirencester
