Got a bit of a worry at the moment, close relation may have lymphoma, waiting for more tests but 75% sure at the moment. Has anyone been thru this and can offer me some advice about how to tackle this situation, in partnership with them so how will it affect business etc ? Thanks in advance

Anyone ?

Lymphoma is a disease that is a pretty broad subject; much will depend on the kind of lymphoma it is and the extent it has progressed to but a lot of people are surviving lymphoma and other cancers for a very long time- often in excess of 10 years or more- often restoring someone's natural lifespan basically. I do not know for sure but I would imagine chemotherapy will be the first port of call. Even the methods used in that vary hugely and the way people cope with that treatment is a very variable thing as well- I have met people undergoing chemotherapy who drive themselves to and from multiple chemotherapy treatments for months at a time and they basically suffer no side effects. Other people it does not agree with and they suffer a range of symptoms that are almost a subject in itself.
In terms of work, even if they are unaffected by any treatments, I would plan for your business partner not to be around for hours of the day multiple times for a long period at the very least as they attend outpatient sessions.
Sorry I cannot be of much help.

As Ollie 989898 says it depends on the type of lymphoma
Sadly from experience I know what your relative is going through I've just lost my brother to lymphoma a month a go
He was diagnosed on the 20th August 2017 spent over 9 months in hospital getting chemo
Everything was going well up to Christmas but sadly it came back .
I hope things go well for your relative lats of people beat it

Luckily my dad was given the all clear a few years back. He did many obvious changes such as quitting smoking and working so much. Was a nasty few years like yourself we were partners in the family business so while he was off Sick I had to turn over an awful lot to keep us both payed. Unfortunately family friend a few doors up was diagnosed a short while after I’m not suggesting a correlation or it’s certainly what did it but he continued smoking and passed away. Sometimes it’s best to take every day as it comes arm yourself with a small amount of relevant information but don’t use google you can convince yourself of all sorts with the rubbish some people post. Hope all works out well for you and never underestimate the power of positivity (y)

There's someone who lurks a bit on here who's brother had lymphoma, chemotherapy and blood transfusions eventually sorted him out but not before he turned a purple/blue colour. Hopefully they've caught it in time, it does seem like more people are surviving it now.
