Thanks to Tony Blair there isn’t a Minister for Agriculture.

Just a minister for the catch all Department of Fluffy Environmentalism, Cheap Food and Rural Ignorance. Ag is now held in such low regard and almost contempt by politicians, that they’re going to get an almighty shock when prices skyrocket through the summer, as the insulation of forward sold commodities run out.
