Ag ties are a planning condition imposed by local council, so searching on the property address via the relevant council planning pages should take you to its planning history. (The council that the council tax would be paid to for that location). If you know its post code, then you can go via here to the relevant council. https://www.gov.uk/search-register-planning-decisionsSimple question ! How do I find out if a house has an ag tie on it ? There is a property locally that I would like to find out if it has an ag tie on it. (Long story but I can't ask the owners, no bad blood or anything like that but have my reasons !)
I know that originally the property was applied for as a agricultural workers dwelling, but it went to appeal to get planning passed and I don't know whether it had that condition enforced or notAs stated above properties that are commonly referred to as having agricultural ties are only tied to agricultural use by planning condition on the property itself. The official term is an agricultural occupancy condition (aoc).
The appeal decision notice should be available on the Local Authority website or failing that the Planning Inspectorate website also has a search facilityI know that originally the property was applied for as a agricultural workers dwelling, but it went to appeal to get planning passed and I don't know whether it had that condition enforced or not
The LR was probably updated through a S106 agreement in conjunction with the planning condition.Last one we bought iirc had an entry on the land registry documents.
