Does anyone know how much oil a 2 oven aga should use if it on 365 days a year ?

We have a Redfyre poormans aga copy and it has averaged 3700 litres of kero per year for last 3 years.

I think it depends on age too. The older ones have much less insulation especially in the doors.
Ours is 1976 four oven and drinks like a fish.
But we like it so pay up and look happy especially in May when we turn it off!

We have our two oven on for about 6 months of the year. Use a total of 2500l per year for the aga and oil boiler for central heating and hot water combined. Do have a wood burner as well.

Looks like ours has a drink problem. As mentioned it is not a real Aga.
We’ve got an esse doing cooking, water and heating, it’s over 4000l/yr and does none of the above tasks very well………And we turn it off in summer. 😳.

sounds like yours is using a similar amount of fuel.

Ours is getting the heave once we can find a plumber that’s able to do 2 things: 1- turn up, and 2 - actually commit to doing a job. 🤔.

If you have any luck with the plumber let me know. Still got rads to get fitted in our bathroom that we started last April.

If I want similar heat to my aga I will turn all the rings on, on my cooker and turn oven on and leave door open
Now i could poss do the same but a rangemaster electric cooker is in the hole where the oil guzzler once sat
couple of Rads on opposite wall off the boiler by heck they can get warm if needed
