Are there any Agco dealers selling Mf & Fendt on here that want to sell Filters & parts at a Discount ? I would be buying about £1000 worth of filter's etc at a time & paying for them along with the order, in return I would be look to get a very big discount off them

£1000 doesn't buy many filters today :(

Have you priced up somewhere like inlinefilters for donaldson/baldwin/mann equivalents? Agco don't make filters.

If you can get the dealer to a 20%-ish discount level on the filters (and associated o-rings etc), then it possible to buy every single filter for a 500/1000/2000 hour Fendt service for under £1K, at least for 500/700 series machines. 900s won't be miles off.

Most dealers I've worked with will discount parts if you give them prior notice and they can order them on a longer delivery time stock order.

I'd like to think that is how they order filters already, so that they are sitting on the shelf.

Unfortunately, some dealers are ordering filters on a next day delivery schedule, and charging costumers accordingly:banghead:

Have asked the store men in our area about a discount on filters and parts a few times now and the answer was we do not do that
If they wouldn't even give you a price for the new tractor deal and they are not interested in selling you filters, I'd hazard guess they are probably trying to tell you something but in a polite manner.(y)

The request and the title don't normally go together.......
Ask for a bulk load put on a stock order.... seriously though, you'll need to be ordering probably 5k at least to get better terms......

would you not consider using a filter specialist like AB Components ,James is a nice guy and will not sell crap they are all leading brands used by oem,s he knows his stuff will be half main stealers price, but perhaps you need gen to keep warranty up

How does this post benefit an Agco dealer?

You want to buy some service items for your tractors - OK. You want a VERY BIG DISCOUNT - why? You're just a retail customer, same as anyone else? £1,000 is not exactly a dazzling order. The fact you state you will actually pay for you're order should kind of go without saying, too.

There is literally no incentive for a dealer to offer a discount, here.

Not having a go, you understand. Just trying to understand the logic?

Simple , I have been getting any thing up to 40% off my parts & filters off the dealer I have bought them off for you but they are retiring later this year & I am not going to pay RRP for them, I think if I spend £1000 a month on filters it would not be good business sense to turn you nose up at that , If the dealer can make 20% or off 12K + in filters a year it all helps there profit at the end of the year

So if you expect around 40% off the RRP, leaving them a margin of 20%, they should be happy with making 92.3076923% less profit than they would ordinarily?

If you can sell that to somebody (or anybody), you deserve the discount! (y)
